Athletes for Agriculture at PURE Academy

Athletes for Agriculture at PURE Academy is our flagship program that blends athleticism with leadership and business acumen. This dynamic initiative operates through a student-led model where athletes take the reins in managing a real-world business focused on agriculture. By growing and distributing healthy food, educating the community on nutrition, and advocating for health-oriented policies, student-athletes gain a comprehensive experience that extends beyond the field.

Under the mentorship of industry professionals and local business leaders, our student-athletes tackle every facet of the operation. They dive into food production, processing, and distribution, while also honing their skills in branding, marketing, and customer engagement. This practical experience not only enhances their leadership and teamwork abilities but also deepens their understanding of agricultural and business practices, preparing them for future success both in sports and beyond.



Living Learning Lab at PURE Academy

The Living Learning Lab at PURE Academy is where research, innovation, and athletics converge to enhance student development. This unique environment supports students in assessing campus needs and implementing practical solutions, integrating academic learning with hands-on athletic and personal growth experiences. Located in a food desert and serving a community with limited access to green spaces, our school gardens are more than just a source of nutritious food—they provide a vital space for social-emotional development and community building.



PURE Academy’s STEM curriculum is designed to spark curiosity, critical thinking, and overall growth. By blending rigorous academic instruction with practical experiences through the lens of athletics in agriculture and civic engagement, we create a well-rounded educational experience. College Preparatory at PURE Academy

At PURE Academy, we are dedicated to supporting first-generation college-bound athletes. We work closely with students and their families to create personalized plans that address their academic and athletic aspirations. Our annual college tour offers a glimpse into campus life, while our ongoing support includes mentorship and a financial stipend to assist graduates throughout their college journey. Our mission is to fully prepare students for college and future success, both in the classroom and on the field.
