Monthly: 10 payments: July 5 or 20 through April 5 or 20
Types of Tuition Assistance
Saint Joseph Prep offers financial assistance in the form of merit scholarships and need-based financial aid awards. All financial awards are generated by income from endowed scholarships and by gifts from alumni and benefactors. Financial aid is not funded from tuition.
Need-Based Financial Aid
Need-based financial aid awards are granted on an annual basis. Applicants are required to apply online by accessing https://online.factsmgt.com/signin/4HLQW. This type of award is based on demonstrated need as determined by the FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment Service. Those applying for the 2022-23 academic year are asked to complete and submit the FACTS grant and aid assessment application, along with supporting documentation by December 31. For returning students, the due date is February 28. Late applications may be considered if there are unclaimed funds remaining after the enrollment deadline.
Merit Scholarships
A limited number of merit scholarships are available to incoming ninth grade applicants. Scholarship awards are need-blind and are renewed annually for four years, provided the student remains in good standing.
All applicants are considered and separate application is not required. Priority consideration is given to students who choose Saint Joe’s as an entrance test location and indicated Saint Joe’s as a first choice on his/her answer sheet. However, since Saint Joseph Prep anticipates a talented pool of students applying for admission each year, these awards are competitive. The Admission Committee considers each student individually, evaluating each applicant in a personalized and holistic manner. Although grades and test scores are important, they are not used to automatically include or exclude an applicant from consideration. Due to the limited number of scholarships available, all deserving candidates may not be recognized.
Saint Joseph Prep encourages our scholars to learn, our artists to create, and our leaders to grow while developing as critical and innovative thinkers. Typically, candidates for the merit scholarships are bright, motivated, curious, and enthusiastic students who benefit from, and contribute to, our school community.
Merit scholar recipients are notified in conjunction with our admission decision.
